Illusions Part 2

This week we continued on with our monthly theme of “Illusions.”

We focused on illusions based on “Perspective.” “Perspective” is the appearance to the eye of objects in respect to their relative distance and positions. So objects close to the viewer’s eye (foreground) will appear larger than objects farther away from the viewer’s eye (background).

We sketched some images of ideas we would like to try using perspective trick photography, or “Forced Perspective.”

We came up with a lot of funny photos!

The kids saw this and said: “He’s in the drink bottle!”

The kids saw this and said “He’s flying in the class!”

The kids saw this and said “She’s so small!”

It was fun coming up with unbelievable situations, and having photographic evidence!
