Healthy vs Unhealthy Food

This week, our P2 students learned about healthy and unhealthy foods through a fun sorting activity. Using food cards and toy models, the children grouped different items into “healthy” and “unhealthy” baskets.

They quickly noticed that fruits, vegetables, rice, and fish went into the healthy basket, while chocolates, chips, and soda belonged in the unhealthy one. The activity helped them understand which foods help their bodies grow strong and which ones should only be eaten once in a while.

One student proudly said, “Carrots make me see better!” while another added, “Too much candy makes my tummy hurt.” Their observations showed that they are beginning to connect food choices with how their bodies feel.
