Sand Digging Sensory Play

P2 students explored a sensory play activity with sand. With their little hands and digging tools, they scooped, poured, and searched for hidden treasures buried beneath the grains. The texture of the sand kept them engaged, encouraging both focus and imagination.

One child excitedly exclaimed, “I found a marble!” while another smiled proudly and said, “Look, I made a flower!”

Their discoveries sparked joy among the group, turning the activity into a lively mix of play, sharing, and creativity.

The simple act of digging in the sand gave the children a chance to practice fine motor skills, teamwork, and problem-solving—while having lots of fun.
