How Much Sugar?

As part of our monthly snack theme, we investigated how much sugar can be found in some of our popular snacks.

The students first made hypotheses, guessing the sugar content and ranking the snacks based on their predictions. As they discussed their ideas, some adjusted their hypotheses — for example, reconsidering items like flavored water — before measuring the actual amounts.

After comparing their estimates with the results, many were surprised by their discoveries.

Then the children worked together to present their findings on a colorful poster, showing strong curiosity, teamwork, and scientific thinking throughout the activity.
