K2 & K3 Exploring the River Ecosystem

Our K2 and K3 students had an exciting hands-on learning experience as they explored a local river and observed its fascinating ecosystem. Equipped with nets and plenty of curiosity, the children searched for small aquatic creatures, including crayfish and tiny fish, while learning about the animals that call the river home.
The trip encouraged careful observation, teamwork, and respect for nature as the children discovered the importance of keeping our waterways clean and protecting local wildlife.
It was a wonderful day of exploration, discovery, and outdoor learning that brought our classroom lessons to life!
