Today we played the game Scrabble. It’s a very popular game that helps kids learn how to spell. The kids had to look at their 10 letter tiles and try to make words out of them (or add to the board to make new words.) So the one with the most points wins!
”Is that how you spell bear?”
”I made ten!”
”How many points is this?”
”You spelled bear, so I’ll spell fur!”
Did you know that the word “oxyphenbutazone” will score you 1782 points! That’s right. So if you get those letters, you are guaranteed to win!
”I won!!”
Our winner didn’t get 1782 points, but got enough to win!
