Look Very Closely…
This month we are learning about Optical Illusions for Social Studies.
Optical illusions can use color, light, and patterns to create images that trick our brain into seeing things that we initially couldn’t see.
The information gathered by the eye is processed by the brain. It creates a perception that in reality, doesn’t match the true image.
We saw colors that weren’t actually there, shapes disappear but were actually still there, and objects move that weren’t actually moving.
We got a lot of big reactions.
”Wow! I can see it!”
”It’s over here!”
We also got some stumped faces.
”I don’t know…”
”I don’t see anything…”
It was a lot of fun trying to find the hidden images though…
…even if it took multiple tries!
